the Genesis of ride extreme
The original RideExtreme ride crews grew organically by the calling of God. Brian Weed, our missionary friend in Nicaragua, contacted Bruce Walker (Texas) and Bruce Judkins (Wisconsin) during early summer of 2016. He floated the idea of a motorcycle ride from the US to Managua, Nicaragua as a way to get motorcycles donated to mission staff. It wasn't long before this expanded into raising funds for Jovenes Extremo (Youth Extreme) to build at least 4 youth sports complexes.
As "the two Bruce's" started reaching out for financial support it quickly became apparent that God, as usual, had bigger plans. Those plans included calling other riders to join us. Every member of RideExtreme has a unique story to tell of "how God spoke to them" to join our mission.
We all have this in common; a love for God, a desire to help the less fortunate, a passion for motorcycle riding, and finally, an uncontrollable zeal for the "Extreme"!
We believe that following God's will in our lives will always stretch us beyond the norm. We thank each of you for joining us vicariously through your generous giving! God bless you all!

Psalm 45:4-5/ New Living Translation (NLT)
4 In your majesty, ride out to victory,
defending truth, humility, and justice.
Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds!
5 Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies’ hearts.
The nations fall beneath your feet.
When and where?
The ride to Nicaragua began Easter weekend of 2017. It was a 16 day ride through Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and finally, Nicaragua.
The Wisconsin Iron Butt 1000 ride will take place in mid to late July 2018. It will all be accomplished in less than a 24 hour period but we left a wide window of opportunity so as to pick the best weather day. Our ride will take us throughout the state of Wisconsin.
