Jason's Story-Wisconsin Rider"I don't think I've ever heard God speak to me... He was calling me to something." |
"To be honest, as a motorcycle rider myself, this is what really caught my attention. Bruce asked if I would be interested in helping with financial support of this ministry, and of course I was on board. Now this is where things start to become more personal…
As the days passed by, I kept thinking more and more about this mission trip. The thought of riding an enduro motorcycle over 2300 miles sounded pretty cool. I actually tossed the idea around in my head. I let a couple more days pass by, and that mission trip still held my attention. I went to dinner with my wife, Kris, and shared with her about Bruce’s next mission trip. She was also on board in helping financially support the cause. I told her that this particular trip held my attention more than just helping financially, and I thought I wanted to be a part of the trip itself. I told her that I don’t think I ever heard God speak to me before, but this may actually be the first time He was calling me to something, and He had my attention. God placed something far greater on my heart than just giving this time. Something that would take me to Extreme places." |
